DBP Members Celebrate Pride Month 2019
WorldPride has one simple mission: to promote lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender LGBT rights globally. WorldPride spreads its inclusive message through parades, festivals and other fun activities. The 2-week long event will include a main parade, on July 7, plus various other celebrations that are expected to attract more than 1 million visitors.
June is Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month, established to recognize the impact that gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals have had on the world. Below you will find examples of what some Diversity Best Practices member companies are doing to acknowledge and celebrate Pride Month. Through the conversation, AIR Pride will provide information to facilitate an understanding of the issues and needs of our co-workers, colleagues, and clients who live with the potential bias and discrimination from both identities.
